Temirlan Baymash
- Temirlan Baymash is the founder of Adyraspan.bastamasy, an initiative that protects the rights of students and young people. In 2025, the team drew public attention to issues of corruption and ineffective financial management at Nazarbayev University, where a state audit revealed violations amounting to 73 billion tenge. The organisation also highlighted a case of sexual violence at the university, prompting a public response from the administration and a discussion of violence in society. The police noted that it was thanks to Adyraspan.bastamasy that they learned about the case of violence at NU. The organisation, together with its partners, prepared a special report for the UN Committee on the Elimination of Discrimination against Women. The initiative reached over 500,000 views through publications and videos and provided direct support to about 1,000 students this year.
