Award of the Year
The «Person and Initiative of the Year» Award has been running since 2020 with the aim of supporting young Kazakhstani people working to protect human rights and the interests of society. The award offers voting in two categories:
«Person of the Year»: «Activism», «Activism: Regions», «Journalists, Bloggers, Stand-up Comedians»;
«Initiative of the Year»: «Human Rights», «Media», «Equality and Non-Discrimination», «Art Activism», «Social Entrepreneurship», «Ecology»;
«Special Contribution»: this category recognises initiatives by our fellow citizens who are no longer young but have done noteworthy work.
