Askhat Niyazov
- Askhat Niyazov is a Kazakh journalist and author of the YouTube channel «Obozhayu» (I Love). In 2025, he focused on socially and publicly significant topics affecting the lives of citizens. He covered tax increases, the consequences of spring floods, the work of local authorities and electoral processes. His reports on Pavlodar, Astana and Bishkek, as well as interviews with the former Minister of Health, showed the real picture of what was happening, not just the official version. His interview with Bishkek Deputy Mayor Ramiz Aliyev in a relaxed atmosphere quickly went viral and showed what an official should be like. Askhat's videos this year garnered between 100,000 and 378,000 views.
