ÖmirFest
- OmirFest is an annual festival in Almaty dedicated to animal welfare, ecology and conscious living. The name reflects the idea of respect for all living creatures and nature. The aim of the festival is to show that caring for the environment and animals begins with everyday habits: responsible consumption, waste sorting and rejecting violence in any form. The venue hosts lectures, master classes and shows that bring together activists, volunteers and city residents. OmirFest has become a movement for a culture of awareness and empathy, shaping new environmental values in society; in 2025, the festival attracted around 6,000 participants.
